Axes hit that sweet spot between very strong/not too rare/not too flimsy. as for an smg, a kriss vector would be a decent choice. it's one of the few guns you can actually use in full auto in short bursts, thanks to it's negligible time to steady. the fire rate is a nice bonus as well. The mp5sd is indeed very nice since you can carry some pretty decent sidearms with 9mm also.

It’s not bad at everything but isn’t exceptional in any aspect either. As a primary it’s one of the better B-Tier guns. The M36 Revolver has one job and its very good at it. It is the quietest gun in Project Zomboid. A great gun if you don’t want to attract too many zombies. Brita’s Weapon Pack. Brita’s weapon pack is the best weapon pack you can get as a mod in Project Zomboid. This mod has a seemingly endless number of guns, including pistols, assault rifles, machine guns, and shotguns. You can also find hand grenades and bazookas if you dig deep into this mod.But I think the best part of Brita is the Gunfighter mod that comes with it. You need to aim and you can see a plus sign form above your head it indicate you’re aiming your best with current skill, weapon and status. I enjoy that depth and it makes for a fun mini game while you play. Vanilla doesn’t have this, but it’s still fun..
