It is blue with about 95% of the bluing left. Odd styled Wood grips with a cross diamond checkering pattern on a one piece grip. Has a center pin with a push in latch to release the cylinder. The Harrington & Richardson 500 was a small, five-shot, double-action revolver chambered in .22 Long Rifle. It was manufactured by the Harrington & Richardson Arms Company from 1948 to 1986. The 500 had a two-inch barrel and was constructed of stainless steel. The grips were black plastic with silver H&R medallions.In 80% condition, the current RETAIL selling prices run in the range: $275 - $300 from what I see on the internet auction sites.
