Press and hold the eyesight button until “Calibration Required” appears on the screen. Press and hold the eyesight button again for three seconds. The exact same engine shutdown problem has occurred a few times with our 2019 Forester. The Subaru dealer could not determine the cause. But recently Subaru did replace the battery because we reported five times the battery required a jump start.
