Footer widge

I would like to put borders around my footer widgets…I already have simple css installed, but want to sure I have the right code. I assume it would be a variation of this code mentioned in a previous topic:.inside-left-sidebar {border: 1px solid #000; padding: 20px;} Just not sure how to do it..
